The LFP Disciplinary Committee has made its decision regarding the incidents that occurred during the Nantes-Toulouse match on May 17. Toulouse FC acknowledges the decision while questioning its validity. The Committee has decided to uphold the score at the time of the match's interruption (0-0). Toulouse FC reserves the right to appeal this decision within the prescribed timeframe. The Committee has also decided to hand FC Nantes a closed-door match followed by two matches with the Loire stand closed. FC Nantes will not start its Ligue 2 season with a negative point tally as feared. The Brigade Loire had announced a projectile launch on the pitch, cups, and numerous flares and fireworks. Several dozen supporters - the majority wearing masks - had then managed to jump over the Loire stand grilles, forced the protective barriers, and overflowed the first row of stadium seats. Many fans had then run towards the players, who quickly retreated to the locker rooms. The match was naturally interrupted. The scene lasted a few minutes. The CRS had entered the pitch and pushed the supporters back into the stands. Clashes then broke out at the Loire stand level between the police and several ultras still wearing masks.
