Nice Targets Franck Magri
OGC Nice have reportedly made Franck Magri, a free agent since leaving Toulouse FC, one of their targets for the upcoming transfer window. According to Foot Mercato, the Aiglons' management is interested in bringing the 26-year-old Cameroonian international into their squad.
Profile and Potential
Magri, who has represented Cameroon 20 times with two goals to his name, brings a wealth of Ligue 1 experience. His signing would be an attractive option for Nice, which is operating under limited financial resources but remains determined to avoid another season as challenging as the one they endured last year.
Magri's recent form has been somewhat inconsistent. He was sidelined by injury for almost the entire second half of the 2025-26 season, during which he managed to score five goals and provide one assist in just 17 league matches. However, his return to action on January 17th offers hope that he could bounce back to form.
Despite the challenges faced by Nice this season, Magri's experience and potential make him an ideal candidate for the Côte d’Azur club. His signing would not only strengthen their squad but also provide a morale boost after a frustrating period on the pitch.
