Toulouse FC Prepares for the Season with an Amicable Match Against Real Sociedad
Toulouse Football Club (TFC) is gearing up for the new season by facing off against Real Sociedad, a top-level Spanish team, in an amicable match at Tarbes. The match will kick off on Friday, July 31st, at 7 PM at the Maurice-Trélut stadium.
Warm Welcome and Summer Preparation
Tarbes Pyrénées Football has chosen to support this friendly match as part of the Christophe Revault program, aimed at promoting amateur football. The ticket sales are already nearly complete with 1,500 tickets sold so far.
This will be the second match in a series for Toulouse after their 1-1 draw against Rodez on July 25th in Montauban. New coach Jens Berthel Askou should have an opportunity to test new tactics with this strong team.
A Strong Opponent
Real Sociedad is a respected formation in Spain, having won the Copa del Rey 2025-2026 and qualifying for the Europa League. Toulouse will need to adapt to their level of play.
To prepare for the season, Toulouse has several friendly matches lined up, including a training camp in Spain from August 3rd to 7th against Murcia, then facing Al Ain on August 5th and Elche on August 8th. The last pre-season match will be held on Saturday, August 15th, against Hamburg at home at the Stadium.
